What is Alite Maglock™?

Maglock™ is a magnetic license plate mounting system that offers a clean, frameless look with quick access. It uses powerful neodymium magnets and 3M adhesive — no bolts, no visible hardware.

Is it compatible with all license plates?

Yes. Maglock™ fits standard plate sizes used in most countries, including EU, US, and UK formats.

Do I need to drill my car?

Just once. You'll need to attach the base mount using your car’s factory bumper holes. The magnets stick to your plate using 3M adhesive — no surface damage.

Will it hold my plate securely at high speeds?

Absolutely. The ultra-strong magnets are tested and proven to hold plates steady even at speeds over 150 km/h (93+ mph).

Can I install it myself?

Yes. Installation takes just 5 minutes using a screwdriver. All other hardware is included in the kit.

Is the plate really frameless?

Yes. No visible frame or bolts — your plate appears to float cleanly on the surface.

Does it work with backup cameras and plate lights?

Yes. Maglock™ doesn't block lighting or interfere with rearview camera angles.

Will it scratch my car or plate?

No. The 3M adhesive and soft padding protect your vehicle’s paint and the plate from contact with metal.

Can I reuse it if I change my plate or car?

Yes. The magnets can be removed and reused. You’ll just need fresh 3M tape (included in the kit) for the new setup.
